Terms and conditions
- We will confirm your booking in writing upon receipt of your booking form and deposit. We do not consider any booking as having been formally accepted unless we have confirmed it in writing. We will not refund any deposits once a booking has been formally accepted.
- By signing the booking form, the client confirms that he has the authority to make bookings on behalf of all the members of his or her party and further that he or she has read and accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of his or her party. All our transactions will be with the person who signs the booking form. He or she is considered to be the client and is liable for all fees incurred by the party.
- We must receive the balance of your holiday payment at least 8 weeks before your arrival. If you book within this 8 week period you must send us the full balance at the time of booking. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain any money already paid if we do not receive the balance of your payment by the date stipulated.
- If you choose to cancel your holiday after paying the balance we reserve the right to make the following charges:
- Up to 8 weeks before the agreed arrival date: 25% of the total cost of the holiday (i.e. the booking deposit)
- Between 8 and 4 weeks before the agreed arrival date: 50% of the total cost of the holiday
- Within 4 weeks of the agreed arrival date: 100% of the total cost of the holiday
- The site, facilities and equipment will be available to those arriving by car from 2pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. For those who choose to fly, the cabin will be available within two hours of your arrival and must be vacated two hours before your check in time.
- By signing the booking form the client agrees that every member of his or her party will abide by the rules and regulations as set out on this website. Further, they agree to be considerate guests, to take good care of the facilities, equipment and site and to leave them in the same condition as they found them. They also agree not to cause any disturbance to our neighbours and above all not to act in any way that will cause harm or unnecessary distress to the fish.
- We are not liable for any loss of public services or utilities, nor for any loss, damage or injury as a result of weather nor for any other issues, including delays to your journey.
- You are strongly advised to arrange travel, breakdown, medical and public liability insurance for your group before you travel. We will not be held liable for any charges you incur because of the absence of such cover.
- Information regarding third-party companies on this site should not be construed as recommendations. Further, we are in no way responsible for the content of any external websites linked to from this site or of any contracts that you might enter into on these websites.
- We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time without notification to you. The currently displayed terms and conditions will always be considered as the agreed terms of use.
We also require a £75 breakage & utilities deposit per person. This deposit covers damage, breakages and/or loss of equipment and is payable with the balance of your holiday payment. This deposit will also cover the metered cost of electricity used during your stay. Providing there are no breakages, damage or losses your deposit will be returned to you minus the amount due for electricity within 14 days of the date of your departure. In the event of breakages, damage or losses you will be charged the full cost of replacement items and any labour required to make good the damage. This includes hiring cleaners where insufficient care has been taken to leave the facilities and equipment in a clean and tidy condition. Where the cost of any breakages, damage or losses exceeds the deposit, you will be charged the balance upon departure.
Your breakages & utilities deposit is fully refundable in the event of cancellation.
Please note that cancellations must be confirmed by you in writing. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation in writing and arrange any refunds within 14 days. Until we receive written confirmation of your cancellation your booking will continue to be treated as an accepted booking. Please note that proof of postage does not constitute proof of receipt. Clients are strongly advised to phone or email us in order to ascertain that their cancellation notice has been received.
Please note that we may ask your party to leave immediately if you breach these conditions. In such circumstances your group would not receive any refund or compensation, and in those cases where airport pick up and drop off has been pre-arranged we further reserve the right to demand that you and your party make alternative travel arrangements at your own cost.
Under no circumstances shall our liability exceed the fee paid.
We reserve the right to cancel your holiday at any time. In the event that we cancel your holiday we will fully refund any payments made by you to us. We will notify you of the cancellation in writing as soon as possible and any refunds will be made within 14 days. Where the holiday date is imminent we will also attempt to contact the client by telephone or email. In the event of cancellation we will not be held liable for any other costs that you may have incurred in respect of your holiday. This includes but is not limited to travel and insurance costs.
