Fishing in France - A lake for one, sir?
Tim opted to visit Forest Lake Carp Fishing on his own for the ultimate get-away-from-it-all break from his busy schedule. Not that he got much rest with the carp still in full-on feeding mode. Having heard that the fish had been biting well on the Dynamite banana boilies the week before, Tim capitalised by using the same bait during his stay with great success. His own choice of Raj Spice boilies also proved popular - which seems to indicate that the fish haven't yet made any firm selection between sweet and savoury at this early stage in the fishery's life.
Like many before him, Tim notched up a personal best during his stay. Sadly, the blissful solitude of a solo angling trip did have one drawback: there was no-one to take a photo of him with his prize.
